AJR - The Information Squeeze

This is a good article from the American Journalism Review that talks about the ways in which government agencies are trying to seal themselves off from having to reveal information under the Freedom of Information Act. Many examples are included of ways in which legitimate journalism has been supressed. Particularly interesting are some of the examples from Florida, well know for it's Sunshine Laws.
