Closemouthed at Justice (washingtonpost.com) The Justice department is refusing to answer the questions put to them by the House Judiciary Committee, who are trying to find out about how the Justice Department has used their new "authorities" under the USA Patriot Act. Questions like how many times they've used roving wiretaps, phone tracing devices, and how often they've checked out the reading habits of US citizens at libraries and bookstores. |
